I am obsessed with the grilled chicken bahn mi and the summer rolls with chicken and shrimp. For Boston, these are so well priced for a really great meal. All the workers I have met have been kind and friendly, despite sometimes a long wait during peak hours. I wish they offered a dine in option, but I have always had good experiences with their online ordering options.

I have just spent 21 months in Asia and past 18 in Vietnam...Ate Pho almost once a week for awhile, got to the point where I actually started only eating other foods out of getting too much. Pho Viet's I went to last week after flying back and unfortunately for lunch it was only take out. But the food was still as good as the last time I went nearly two years ago. A word of advice to single male travelers who have an idea Asia is a wonderland for us...Thailand and the Philippines will be much more easier for a non local language speaker. I was in Vietnam for nearly two years and spent most of that time alone. This last post I am posting I wrote summer of 2021. Just posting it now as I had it on draft.

We ordered lunch for pick up, a grilled chicken bahn mi and chicken and shrimp summer rolls- I wish they used the same chicken that was in the bahn mi for the summer rolls because the summer roll chicken was so hard and chewy... like it was over cooked? I asked for sriracha and was told there was already one in the pack, I asked for an extra and it maybe was a communication issue or they only give 1 per order but we def could've used another. The bahn Mi was tasty and everything but the chicken in the summer roll was good- I'll have to try the tofu summer roll next time, with extra sriracha

Still continuing to eat at Pho Viet. Their food is a go-to for my family. If you are going to get a Bahn mí or Vietnamese sandwich I would highly suggest the tofu one. Even if you don't really like tofu, I guarantee you will like it here. Even as a meat eater, I think it tastes the best. For drinks, I would also recommend the lychee ice, its very different from anything I have ever had. The service is also amazing, they are genuinely so sweet there. I think since COVID they have transitioned into being take out early, but don't let that turn you away, you can go sit at the picnic benches right down the street to enjoy your food.
